حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ السَّمْتِيُّ عَنْ سَلْمِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَقَامُ رَجُلٍ فِي صَفٍّ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا وَمَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَبَلَغَ أَخْطَأَ أَوْ أَصَابَ فَبِعِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ وَمَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “The station of a man in a rank in the path of Allah is better than the world and all that is in it. And whoever shoots an arrow in the path of Allah and it reaches its target, whether it misses or hits, it is like the freeing of a slave. And whoever grows a grey hair in the path of Allah, it will be light for him on the Day of Resurrection.”
