حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ ثنا أَبُو فَرْوَةَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ثنا أَبِي ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ حُدَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلْهَلِ عَنْ أَبِي سَهْلٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ

جَمَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ «يَا بَنِي هَاشِمٍ لَا أُغْنِي عَنْكُمْ مِنَ اللهِ شَيْئًا يَا بَنِي هَاشِمٍ إِنَّ أَوْلِيَائِي مِنْكُمُ الْمُتَّقُونَ يَا بَنِي هَاشِمٍ اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ يَا بَنِي هَاشِمٍ لَا أَلْفِيَنَّكُمْ تَأْتُونَ بِالدُّنْيَا تَحْمِلُونَهَا عَلَى ظُهُورِكُمْ وَتَأْتُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ تَحْمِلُونَهَا»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ gathered the Banū Hāshim one day and said to them, "O Banū Hāshim, I cannot avail you in any way against Allah. O Banū Hāshim, my allies among you are the God-fearing. O Banū Hāshim, guard against the Fire, even with half a date. O Banū Hāshim, let me not find you coming with this world, carrying it on your backs, and bringing the Hereafter, carrying it."
