حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ شَاهِينَ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبِرَكِيُّ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ أَبُو حَمْزَةَ الْعَطَّارُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ
أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَجُلًا فِي عَضُدِهِ حَلْقَةً مِنَ صُفَرٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ مَا هَذِهِ؟ قَالَ نُعِتَتْ لِي مِنَ الْوَاهِنَةِ قَالَ أَمَا إِنْ مُتَّ وَهِيَ عَلَيْكَ وُكِلْتَ إِلَيْهَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ تَطَيَّرَ وَلَا تُطُيِّرَ لَهُ وَلَا تَكَهَّنَ وَلَا تُكُهِّنَ لَهُ» أَظُنُّهُ قَالَ «أَوْ سَحَرَ أَوْ سُحِرَ لَهُ»

✧ He saw a man with a brass ring on his upper arm, so he said to him, "What is this?" He said, "It was prescribed for me for the wāhina." He said, "Indeed, if you die while it is on you, you will be left to it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He is not one of us who practices augury or has it done for him, or who practices divination or has it done for him." I think he said, "Or who practices magic or has it done for him."
