حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدَةَ السُّوَائِيِّ قَالَ
لَغَطَ قَوْمٌ قُرْبَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَوْ بُعِثْتَ إِلَى هَؤُلَاءِ بَعْضَ مَنْ يَنْهَاهُمْ عَنْ هَذَا فَقَالَ «لَوْ بُعِثْتُ إِلَيْهِمْ فَنَهَيْتُهُمْ أَنْ يَأْتُوا الْحَجُونَ لَأَتَاهُ بَعْضُهُمْ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ بِهِ حَاجَةٌ»

✧ Some people made noise near the Prophet ﷺ, and one of his companions said, “O Messenger of Allah, if only you would send someone to them to forbid them from this.” He said, “If I sent someone to them and forbade them from going to al-Ḥajūn, some of them would still go there even if they had no need of it.”
