حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَهْمِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَرَأَ حَرْفًا مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ كُتِبَ لَهُ حَسَنَةٌ» لَا أَقُولُ لَكُمْ «الْم ذَلِكَ الْكِتَابُ وَلَكِنِ الْأَلْفُ وَاللَّامُ وَالْمِيمُ وَالذَّالُ وَالْكَافُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever recites a letter of the Quran has a good deed written for him.' I do not say to you, 'Alif Lam Mim. That is the Book,' but rather the alif, the lam, the mim, the dhal, and the kaf.
