حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْخَبَائِرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو حَيْوَةَ شُرَيْحُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَدِيِّ أَرْطَأَةُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ
لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا عَوْفُ اعْدُدْ سِتًّا بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ أَوَّلُهُنُّ مَوْتِي ثُمَّ الَّتِي تَلِيهَا فَتْحُ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ ثُمَّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ مَنْزِلٌ تَنْزِلُهُ أُمَّتِي مِنَ الشَّامِ يُفْنِهِمْ فِيهِ مُوتَانٌ كَقُعَاصِ الْغَنَمِ ثُمَّ الَّتِي تَلِيهَا يُفِيضُ الْمَالُ فِيكُمْ حَتَّى يُعْطَى الرَّجُلُ مِائَةَ دِينَارٍ فَيَظَلَّ يَسْخَطُهَا ثُمَّ الَّذِي يَلِيهَا فِتْنَةٌ تَقَعُ فِيكُمْ لَا يَبْقَى بَيْتٌ عَرَبِيٌّ إِلَّا دَخَلَتْهُ ثُمَّ الَّتِي تَلِيهَا يُصَالِحُكُمْ بَنُو الْأَصْفَرِ صُلْحًا يَجْتَمِعُونَ عِنْدَ آخِرِهِ ثَمَانِينَ غَايَةٍ تَحْتَ كُلِّ غَايَةٍ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَلْفًا»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: “O ʿAwf, count six things before the Hour: the first of them is my death; then the one that follows it is the conquest of Jerusalem; then the one that follows it is a death that will befall my ummah in Syria and will consume them like the sudden death of sheep; then the one that follows it is that wealth will overflow among you until a man is given a hundred dinars and remains dissatisfied with them; then the one that follows it is a trial that will occur among you and no Arab household will remain but it will enter it; then the one that follows it is that the Banu al-Asfar will make a peace treaty with you, and at the end of it they will gather eighty banners, under each banner twelve thousand men.”
