حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَأَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ وَأَبُو خَلِيفَةَ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ الْقَزَّازُ قَالُوا ثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ ثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ حَدَّثَنِي الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ وَجَابِرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ أَخُو مُطَرِّفٍ وَحَدَّثَنِي رَجُلَانِ آخَرَانِ نَسِيَ هَمَّامُ أَسْمَاءَهُمَا أَنَّ مُطَرِّفًا حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عِيَاضَ بْنَ حِمَارٍ حَدَّثَهُ
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ أَمَرَنِي أَنَّ أُعَلِّمَكُمْ مَا جَهِلْتُمْ مِمَّا عَلِّمَنِي يَوْمِي هَذَا إِنَّ كُلَّ مَالٍ نَحَلْتُهُ عَبْدِي حَلَالٌ وَإِنِّي خَلَقْتُ عِبَادِي حُنَفَاءَ كُلَّهُمْ وَانْتَابَتْهُمُ الشَّيَاطِينُ فَاجْتَالَتْهُمْ عَنْ دِينِهِمْ وَحَرَّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ مَا أَحْلَلْتُ لَهُمْ وَأَمَرَتْهُمْ أَنْ يُشْرِكُوا بِي مَا لَمْ أُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا وَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ اطَّلَعَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ فَمَقَتَهُمْ عَرَبَهُمْ وَعَجَمَهُمْ غَيْرَ بَقَايَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ إِنِّي بَعَثْتُكَ لِأَبْتَلِيَكَ وَأَبْتَلِيَ بِكَ وَأَنْزَلْتُ عَلَيْكَ كِتَابًا لَا يَغْسِلُهُ الْمَاءُ تَقْرَؤُهُ يَقْظَانًا وَنَائِمًا وَإِنَّ اللهَ أَوْحَى إِلَيَّ أَنْ أَغْزُوَ قُرَيْشًا فَقُلْتُ يَا رَبِّ إِذًا يَثْلَغُوا رَأْسِي فَيَدَعُوهُ خُبْزَةً قَالَ اسْتَخْرِجْهُمْ كَمَا اسْتَخْرَجُوكَ وَاغْزُهُمْ فَسَنُعِزُّكَ وَأَنْفِقْ يُنْفَقْ عَلَيْكَ وَابْعَثْ جَيْشًا نَبْعَثْ خَمْسَةً أَمْثَالَهُمْ وَقَاتِلْ بِمَنْ أَطَاعَكَ مَنْ عَصَاكَ قَالَ وَقَالَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ ثَلَاثَةٌ ذُو سُلْطَانٍ مُقْسِطٌ مُوَفَّقٌ وَرَجُلٌ رَحِيمٌ رَقِيقُ الْقَلْبِ بِكُلِّ ذِي قُرْبَى وَمُسْلِمٍ وَرَجُلٌ عَفِيفٌ فَقِيرٌ مُتَصَدِّقٌ وَقَالَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ خَمْسَةٌ رَجُلٌ لَا يَخْفَى لَهُ طَمَعٌ وَإِنْ ذَرَّ إِلَّا جَانِبَهُ وَرَجُلٌ لَا يُمْسِي وَلَا يُصْبِحُ إِلَّا وَهُوَ يُخَادِعُكَ عَنْ أَهْلِكَ وَمَالِكَ وَالضَّعِيفُ لَا زَبْرَ لَهُ الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِيكُمْ تَبَعٌ لَا يَتْبَعُونَ أَهْلًا وَلَا مَالًا فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ أَمِنْ الْمَوَالِي هُمْ أَمْ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ؟ قَالَ هُوَ التَّابِعَةُ يَكُونُ لِلرَّجُلِ فَيُصِيبُ مِنْ حُرْمَتِهِ سِفَاحًا غَيْرَ نِكَاحٍ «وَالشِّنْظِيرُ الْفَحَّاشُ» قَالَ وَذَكَرَ الْكَذِبَ وَالْبُخْلَ وَاللَّفْظُ لِأَبِي مُسْلِمٍ

✧ He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say in his sermon: "Allah, mighty and sublime, commanded me to teach you what you do not know from what He taught me this day. Every wealth I have bestowed upon My servant is lawful. I created My servants all as upright monotheists, but the devils came to them and turned them away from their religion, forbade them what I had made lawful for them, and commanded them to associate with Me that for which I sent down no authority. Allah, mighty and sublime, looked upon the people of the earth and despised them, their Arabs and non-Arabs, except remnants of the People of the Book. He said: 'O Muhammad, I have sent you to test you and to test by you. I have sent down to you a Book that water will not wash away, which you will recite while awake and asleep.' Allah revealed to me to raid Quraysh. I said: 'My Lord, they will split my head and leave it like a piece of bread.' He said: 'Expel them as they expelled you; raid them and We will grant you victory. Spend and it will be spent on you. Send an army and We will send five times their number. Fight with those who obey you against those who disobey you.'" He said: "The people of Paradise are three: a just and successful ruler, a merciful man tender-hearted toward every relative and Muslim, and a chaste poor person who gives charity. The people of Hell are five: a man who does not conceal his greed, even if it is as small as a speck, but takes it; a man who does not spend evening or morning except deceiving you regarding your family and property; the weak one who has no restraint, those among you who are followers and do not seek family or wealth." A man said: "O Abu ʿAbd Allah, are they from the clients or from the Arabs?" He said: "He is a follower who belongs to a man and commits adultery with his wife outside marriage, 'the shameless vulgar one.'" He said: And he mentioned lying and miserliness. The wording is that of Abu Muslim.
