حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ أَنَّ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ
أَخْبَرَهُ أَو سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ خَصَّهُ أَنَّهُ نَكَحَ أُمَّ يَحْيَى بِنْتَ أَبِي إِهَابٍ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ أَمَةٌ سَوْدَاءٌ قَدْ أَرْضَعْتُكُمَا قَالَ فَجِئْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرْتُ لَهُ فَأَعْرَضَ فَجِئْتُ إِلَيْهِ الثَّانِيَةَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ «وَكَيْفَ وَقَدْ زَعَمَتْ أَنَّهَا قَدْ أَرْضَعْتُكُمَا فَنَهَاهُ»

✧ He informed him, or he heard it from him if he did not single him out, that he married Umm Yahya bt. Abi Ihab. A black slave woman said to him, “I breastfed both of you.” He said: I came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and mentioned that to him, but he turned away. I came to him a second time and mentioned that to him, and he said: “How, when she claims that she breastfed both of you?” and he prohibited it.
