حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ سَهْلٍ أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَزِيزٍ الْأُبَلِّيُّ ثَنَا سَلَامَةُ بْنُ رَوْحٍ عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ
عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ أَبِي عَابِسٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ فِي جَيْشٍ فَسَرَحْتُ ظَهْرَ أَصْحَابِي فَلَمَّا رُحْتُ لَهُ أَتَى أَصْحَابِي يَتَبَادَرُونَ يَقُولُونَ بَيْنَا نَحْنُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَذَّنَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ فَقَالَ «أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ» فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ الْحَدِيثِ

✧ From ʿUqba b. ʿĀmir Abū ʿĀbis al-Juhanī: I was with the Messenger of Allah in an army. I sent out the riding animals of my companions to pasture. When I returned to him, my companions came rushing to me, saying: While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, the muezzin gave the call to prayer, and he said: "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." Then he mentioned the rest of the hadith.
