حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الطَّالَقَانِيُّ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
«أَصْبَحَ النَّاسُ صِيَامًا لِتَمَامِ ثَلَاثِينَ فَجَاءَ رَجُلَانِ فَشَهِدَا أَنَّهُمَا رَأَيَا الْهِلَالَ بِالْأَمْسِ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ النَّاسَ فَأَفْطَرُوا» لَمْ يَقُلْ أَحَدٌ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ وَلَا عَنْ غَيْرِهِ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ إلَّا إِسْحَاقَ بْنَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الطَّالَقَانِيَّ

✧ 'The people woke up fasting for the completion of thirty days. Then two men came and testified that they had seen the new moon yesterday. So the Messenger of God ﷺ commanded the people, and they broke their fast.' No one said in this hadith, on the authority of Ibn ʿUyaynah or anyone else, on the authority of Abu Masʿud, except Ishaq b. Ismaʿil al-Talaqani.
