حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثَنَا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ
عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَصْبَحْنَا صِيَامًا لِتَمَامِ ثَلَاثِينِ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَجَاءَ رَجُلَانِ أَعْرَابِيَّانِ فَشَهِدَا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُمَا أَهَلَّا بِالْأَمْسِ عَشِيَّةً فَأَمَرَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَفْطَرُوا» وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ

✧ From a man among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: 'We woke up fasting for the completion of thirty days in the month of Ramadan. Then two bedouin men came and testified before the Messenger of God ﷺ that they had sighted the new moon yesterday evening. So the Messenger of God ﷺ commanded them, and they broke their fast.' And the wording is that of the hadith of Abu Hudhayfah.
