حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ قَالَ اجْتَمَعَ حُذَيْفَةُ وَأَبُو مَسْعُودٍ فَقَالَ
حُذَيْفَةُ أَنَا أَعْلَمُ بِمَا مَعَ الدَّجَّالِ مِنْهُ «إِنَّ مَعَهُ نَهَرًا مِنْ نَارٍ وَنَهَرًا مِنْ مَاءٍ وَالَّذِي يَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُ نَارٌ مَاءٌ وَالَّذِي يَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُ مَاءٌ نَارٌ فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ ذَلِكَ مِنْكُمْ فَيَشْرَبُ مِنَ الَّذِي يَرَى أَنَّهُ نَارٌ فَإِنَّهُ يَجِدَهَا مَاءً» فَقَالَ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ وَهَكَذَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ

✧ Hudhayfah said: I know better than him what is with the Dajjal: "Indeed with him is a river of fire and a river of water. What they see as fire is water, and what they see as water is fire. Whoever of you reaches that, let him drink from what he sees as fire, for he will find it water." Abu Mas'ud said: Thus I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say.
