حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إنِّي أُبْدِعُ بِي فَاحْمِلْنِي فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَا عِنْدِي شَيْءٌ وَلَكِنِ ائْتِ فُلَانًا فَسَلْهُ فَلَعَلَّهُ أَنْ يَحْمِلَكَ» فَذَهَبَ إِلَيْهِ فَحَمَلَهُ ثُمَّ مَرَّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ حَمَلَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَنْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ»

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I have been left stranded, so give me a mount." The Prophet ﷺ said, "I have nothing, but go to so-and-so and ask him; perhaps he will mount you." So he went to him and he mounted him. Then he passed by the Prophet ﷺ and told him that he had mounted him, and the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever guides to a good deed will have the like of the reward of its doer."
