حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ ثنا أَبُو شَيْبَةَ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «رَأَيْتُ جَعْفَرَ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ مَلَكًا يَطِيرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ذَا جَنَاحَيْنِ يَطِيرُ بِهِمَا حَيْثُ يَشَاءُ مَقْصُوصَةٌ قَوَادِمُهُ بِالدِّمَاءِ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I saw Ja'far b. Abi Talib as an angel flying in Paradise, possessing two wings with which he flies wherever he wishes, the leading feathers of his wings dyed with blood."
