وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ عِصْمَةَ قَالَ
جَاءَ نَفَرٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إنَّا نَمُرُّ فِي هَذِهِ الْأَسْوَاقِ فَنَنْظُرُ إِلَى هَذِهِ الْفَوَاكِهِ فَنَشْتَهِيهَا وَلَيْسَ مَعَنَا فَلْسٌ نَشْتَرِي بِهِ فَهَلْ لَنَا فِي ذَلِكَ أَجْرٌ؟ فَقَالَ «وَهَلِ الْأَجْرُ إِلَّا فِي ذَلِكَ»
Translation

✧ A group of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, “O Messenger of God, we pass through these markets and look at these fruits and long for them, but we have no coin to buy them. Is there any reward for us in that?” He said, “Is there any reward except in that?”
