حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الطَّالَقَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا فِي مَسْجِدِ الْكُوفَةِ يَقُولُ «كُنْتُ يَوْمَ حَكَمَ سَعْدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ فِي بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ غُلَامًا فَشَكُّوا بِي فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا الْمُوسَى جَرَتْ عَلَيَّ فَاسْتُبْقِيتُ»

✧ I heard a man in the mosque of Kūfah say: “On the day Saʿd b. Muʿādh passed judgment on Banū Qurayẓah, I was a boy, and they were uncertain about me. They did not find that the razor had passed over me, so I was spared.”
