حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ مُضَرِّسِ بْنِ أَوْسِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ لَامَ الطَّائِيَّ يَقُولُ أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْمُزْدَلِفَةِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ جِئْتُ مِن جَبَلَيْ طَيِّئٍ وَاللهِ مَا جِئْتُ حَتَّى أَتْعَبْتُ نَفْسِي فَأَكْلَلْتُ رَاحِلَتِي فَمَا نَزَلَتُ جِبَالًا إِلَّا وَقَفْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ شَهِدَ مَعَنَا هَذِه الصَّلَاةَ وَقَدْ كَان وَقَفَ بِعَرَفَةَ قَبْلَ ذَلِك لَيْلًا أَو نَهَارًا فَقَدْ تَمَّ حَجُّهُ وَقَضَى تَفَثَهُ»

✧ I heard ʿUrwah b. Muḍarris b. Aws b. Ḥārithah b. Lām al-Ṭāʾī say: I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Muzdalifah and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have come from the two mountains of Ṭayyiʾ. By Allah, I did not come until I had tired myself and exhausted my mount. I did not descend any mountain without standing on it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever attends this prayer with us and had previously stood at ʿArafah before that by night or day, his Hajj is complete and he has fulfilled his rites."
