حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ التِّرْمِذِيُّ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيه عَنِ الْعُرْسِ بْنِ عُمَيْرَةََ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَمِّرُوا النِّسَاءَ لِتُعْرِبِ الثَّيِّبُ عَنْ نَفْسِهَا وإذْنُ الْبِكِْر صُمَاتُهَا» زَادَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ فِي الْإِسْنَادِ الْعُرْسَ وَرَوَاهُ اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ فَلَم يُجَاوِزِ عَدِيَّ بْنَ عُمَيْرَةَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Consult women, so that the previously married woman may express herself, and the permission of the virgin is her silence.” Sufyān b. ‘Āmir added in the chain: “the bride.” Al-Layth b. Sa‘d narrated it from Abū Ḥusayn without going beyond ‘Adī b. ‘Umayrah.
