حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَاجِيَةَ ثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ ثَعْلَبٍ ثَنَا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمُؤَدِّبُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ تَسِيرُ الظَّعِينَةُ مِنْ مَكَّةَ إِلَى الْحِيرَةِ لَا يَأْخُذُ أَحَدٌ بِخِطَامِ رَاحِلَتِهَا وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّ عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يَمْشِي الرَّجُلُ بِمِلْءِ كَفِّهِ ذَهَبًا يَتَصَدَّقُ بِهِ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There will come upon people a time when a woman will travel in a litter from Makkah to al-Ḥīrah, and no one will take hold of the halter of her mount. And there will come upon people a time when a man will walk with a handful of gold to give as charity, but it will not be accepted from him.'
