حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ أَنَّ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ قَالَ
رَجُلٌ لَمَّا قُتِلَ عُثْمَانُ لَا يَنْتَطِحً فِيهِ عَنَزَانِ فَقُلْتُ «بَلَى وَتُفْقَأُ فِيهِ عُيُونٌ كَثِيرَةٌ»
