حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ عِيسَى الطَّائِيُّ ثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَارِجَةَ قَالَ
شَهِدْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَجَّتَهُ وَإِنِّي لَبَيْنَ جِرَانِ نَاقَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهِيَ تَقْصَعُ بِجِرَّتِهَا وَلُعَابُهَا يَسِيلُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «أَلَا إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ أَعْطَى كُلَّ ذِي حَقٍّ حَقَّهُ أَلَا وَلَا تَجُوزُ وَصِيَّةٌ لِوَارِثٍ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ وَمَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوِ انْتَمَى إِلَى غَيْرِ مَوَالِيهِ فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ لَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهُ صَرْفٌ وَلَا عَدْلٌ»

✧ I witnessed the Pilgrimage with the Messenger of God ﷺ, and I was indeed between the neck of the Messenger of God’s ﷺ she-camel while she was chewing her cud, and her saliva was flowing between my shoulders. I heard him say: “Indeed, God has given every possessor of a right his right. Indeed, no bequest is permitted to an heir. The child belongs to the marriage bed, and for the adulterer is the stone. Whoever claims descent from other than his father, or attaches himself to other than his masters, upon him is the curse of God, the angels, and all people. Neither a supererogatory deed nor a compulsory one will be accepted from him.”
