✧ I was with the Prophet ﷺ among a group of his companions when ʿUthman b. ʿAffan approached with a mount carrying two sacks, having tucked up his garment with the rope of his camel. The Messenger of God ﷺ said to him: 'What is in the two sacks?' He replied: 'Flour, ghee, and honey.' The Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'Make it kneel.' So he made it kneel. Then the Messenger of God ﷺ called for a cooking pot and put into it some of that flour, ghee, and honey, then ate. Then he said to his companions: 'Eat this, which the Persians call khabis.'
