حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ الْمَكِّيُّ وَمَسْعَدَةُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رِشْدِينَ الْمِصْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ أَنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ نَسِيرُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِذْ سَمِعَ الْقَوْمَ وَهُمْ يَقُولُونَ أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِيمَانٌ بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَجِهَادٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَحَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ» ثُمَّ سَمِعَ نِدَاءً فِي الْوَادِي يَقُولُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ لَا يَشْهَدُهَا أَحَدٌ إِلَّا بَرِئَ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ» وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ أحْمَدَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ

✧ While we were traveling with the Messenger of God ﷺ, he heard the people asking: 'Which deeds are best, O Messenger of God?' The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Faith in God and His Messenger, striving in the path of God, and an accepted pilgrimage.' Then he heard a call in the valley saying: 'I bear witness that there is no god but God, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God.' The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'And I bear witness, and I bear witness: no one bears witness to it except that he is free from polytheism.' The wording is that of the hadith of Ahmad b. Salih.
