حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَكُونُ بِالرِّحْلَةِ وَأَنَا بِحَمْدِ اللهِ أُصَلِّي بِهَا فَمُرْنِي لَيْلَةً أَنْزِلُهَا لِهَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ أُصَلِّي فِيهِ قَالَ «انْزِلْ لَيْلَةَ ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ»

✧ I said, “O Messenger of Allah, I am at the encampment and, by the praise of Allah, I pray there. So command me with a night in which I may come down to this mosque and pray in it.” He said, “Come down on the night of the twenty-third.”
