حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ثنا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ صُعَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَامَ خَطِيبًا فَأَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةِ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ وَالْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدِ صَاعُ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعُ شَعِيرٍ عَنْ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ أَوْ عَنْ كُلِّ رَأْسٍ وَصَاعُ قَمْحٍ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ»

✧ That the Prophet ﷺ stood as a preacher and commanded the zakat al-fitr for the young and the old, the free and the slave: one sa' of dates or one sa' of barley for each individual, or for each head, and one sa' of wheat between two.
