حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ هِلَالٍ الصَّدَفِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أنَّهُ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ لَيُكْتَبُ مُؤْمِنًا أَحْقَابًا ثُمَّ أَحْقَابًا ثُمَّ يَمُوتُ وَاللهُ عَلَيْهِ سَاخِطٌ وَإِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لَيُكْتَبُ كَافِرًا أَحْقَابًا ثُمَّ أَحْقَابًا ثُمَّ يَمُوتُ وَاللهُ عَنْهُ رَاضٍ مَنْ مَاتَ هَمَّازًا لَمَّازًا لِلنَّاسِ كَانَ عَلَامَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنْ يَسِمَهُ اللهُ عَلَى الْخُرْطُومِ مِنْ كِلَا الشَّفَتَيْنِ»

✧ From the Messenger of God ﷺ that he said: “Indeed a servant may be recorded as a believer for ages upon ages, then he dies while God is wrathful with him; and indeed a believer may be recorded as a disbeliever for ages upon ages, then he dies while God is pleased with him. Whoever dies as a slanderer, a backbiter of people, his mark on the Day of Resurrection will be that God brands him on the snout from both lips.”
