أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ مِقْلَاصٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ قَالَ ثنا أَبِي قَالَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ أَبِي السَّمْحِ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أُمِرْتُ بِيَوْمِ الْأَضْحَى عِيدٌ جَعَلَهُ اللهُ لِهَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ لَمْ أَجِدْ إِلَّا مِنْحَةَ أَهْلِي أَفَأُضَحِّي بِهَا؟ فَقَالَ «لَا وَلَكِنْ قَلِّمْ أَظْفَارَكَ وَاحْلِقْ عَانَتَكَ وَخُذْ شَارِبَكَ فَذَاكَ تَمَامُ أُضْحِيَتِكَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I was commanded with the Day of Sacrifice as a festival which Allah made for this nation." A man said: What if I find only the milk-giving animal of my family? Should I sacrifice it? He said: "No, but trim your nails, shave your pubic hair, and trim your mustache. That is the completion of your sacrifice."
