حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ ثنا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ الْعَطَّارُ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْبَغَوِيُّ قَالَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ غِياثٍ قَالَا ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَرِيشٍ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو إِنَّا بِأَرْضٍ لَيْسَ بِهَا ذَهَبٌ وَلَا فِضَّةٌ أَفَنَبِيعُ الْبَعِيرَ بِالْبَعِيرَيْنِ وَالْبَقَرَةَ بِالْبَقَرَتَيْنِ وَالشَّاةَ بِالشَّاتَيْنِ؟ قَالَ أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ أُجَهِّزَ جَيْشًا فَنَفِدَتِ الْإِبِلُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ نَفِدَتِ الْإِبِلُ فَقَالَ «خُذْ لِي قَلَائِصَ الصَّدَقَةِ» فَجَعَلْتُ آخُذُ الْبَعِيرَ بِالْبَعِيرَيْنِ إِلَى إِبِلِ الصَّدَقَةِ

✧ I said to Abdullah b. Amr: We are in a land where there is no gold or silver. May we sell a camel for two camels, a cow for two cows, and a sheep for two sheep? He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered me to equip an army, and the camels ran out. I said: O Messenger of Allah, the camels have run out. He said: "Take for me the young she-camels of zakat." So I began taking a camel for two camels up to the zakat camels.
