حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ ثنا أَبِي قَالَ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي صَخْرٍ عَنْ عَتَّابِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو فِي الْحِجْرِ بِمَكَّةَ فَسُئِلَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ فَقَالَ
سَأَلَنِي رَجُلٌ فَقُلْتُ هَذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَاذْهَبْ فَاسْأَلْهُ ثُمَّ ارْجِعْ فَأَخْبِرْنِي فَسَأَلَهُ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَأَخْبَرَنِي أنْهُ سَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ «هِيَ أَكْبَرُ الْكَبَائِرِ وَأُمُّ الْفَوَاحِشِ وَمَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ تَرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ وَوَقَعَ عَلَى أُمِّهِ وَعَمَّتِهِ وَخَالَتِهِ»
Translation

✧ A man asked me, so I said: This is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so go and ask him, then come back and tell me. He asked him, then returned and told me that he had asked him, and he said: "It is the greatest of major sins and the mother of indecencies. Whoever drinks wine abandons prayer and may fall upon his mother, his paternal aunt, and his maternal aunt."
