حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ قَالَا ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ طَهِّرُوا هَذِهِ الْأَجْسَادَ طَهَّرَكُمُ اللهُ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ عَبْدٌ يَبِيتُ طَاهِرًا إِلَّا بَاتَ مَعَهُ مَلَكٌ فِي شِعَارِهِ لَا يَنْقَلِبُ سَاعَةً مِنَ اللَّيْلِ إِلَّا قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِعَبْدِكَ فَإِنَّهُ بَاتَ طَاهِرًا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Purify these bodies, may Allah purify you, for there is no servant who spends the night pure except that an angel spends the night with him in his undergarment; he does not turn over at any hour of the night except that he says: O Allah, forgive Your servant, for he spent the night pure.”
