حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «لَمْ يَمْنَعْ قَوْمٌ زَكَاةَ أَمْوَالِهِمْ إِلَّا مُنِعُوا الْقَطْرَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَلَوْلَا الْبَهَائِمُ لَمْ يُمْطَرُوا»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ came to us and said: “No people withhold the zakāh of their wealth except that they are deprived of rain from the sky, and were it not for the beasts, they would not be given rain.”
