حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شُعَيْبٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَابْلُتِّيُّ ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ نَهِيكٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالْإِمَامُ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فَلَا يَنْفَرِدْ وَحْدَهُ بِصَلَاتِهِ وَلَكِنْ يَدْخُلُ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ»

✧ I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: “There is no prayer for one who enters the mosque while the imam is standing praying; let him not pray alone by himself, but let him join the imam in the prayer.”
