حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
كُنَّا نَعُدُّ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابُهُ مُتَوَافِرُونَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ ثُمَّ نَسْكُتُ
Translation

✧ We used to count, while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions were numerous: Abū Bakr, ʿUmar, and ʿUthmān; then we would fall silent.
