حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
فِي قَوْلِهِ {لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيمَانًا مَعَ إِيمَانِهِمْ} قَالَ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ بَعَثَ نَبِيَّهُ بِشَهَادَةِ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَلَمَّا صَدَّقُوا زَادَهُمُ الْحَجَّ فَلَمَّا صَدَّقُوا بِهِ زَادَهُمُ الْجِهَادَ ثُمَّ أَكْمَلَ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمْ» فَقَالَ {الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي} قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «فَأَوْثَقُ إِيمَانِ أَهْلِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَأَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ وَأَصْدَقُهُ وَأَكْمَلُهُ شَهَادَةُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ»

✧ In his statement "so that they may increase in faith with their faith," he said, "Indeed Allah sent His Prophet with the testimony that there is no god but Allah, so when they believed in it, their pilgrimage increased, and when they believed in it, their jihad increased, and then He completed their religion for them." He said, "This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you." Ibn Abbas said, "So the firmest and most truthful faith of the people of the heavens and the people of the earth and the most complete of it is the testimony that there is no god but Allah."
