حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ الْعَمِّيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْمُسَاوِرِ الْعَتَكِيُّ ثنا أَبُو جَمْرَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
لَا تَطْلُبَنَّ حَاجَةً إِلَى أَعْمَى وَلَا تَطْلُبَنَّهَا لَيْلًا وَإِذَا طَلَبْتَ الْحَاجَةَ فَاسْتَقْبِلِ الرَّجُلَ بِوَجْهِكَ فَإِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ فِي الْعَيْنَيْنِ وَبَاكِرْ حَاجَتَكَ فَإِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا»

✧ Do not seek a need from a blind man, and do not seek it at night. When you seek a need, face the man directly, for modesty is in the eyes. And seek your need early in the morning, for the Prophet ﷺ said: “O Allah, bless my Ummah in its early mornings.”
