حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ جُنَادٍ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فِي ثَلَاثٍ بَقِينَ مِنْ ذِي الْقِعْدَةِ فَقَالَ دَخَلَتِ الْعُمْرَةُ فِي الْحَجِّ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَوِ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِي مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ مَا سُقْتُ الْهَدْيَ»

✧ On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: Gabriel came to me during the final ten days of Dhul-Qa'dah and said, "The Umrah (lesser pilgrimage) during Hajj is valid until the Day of Resurrection." Upon hearing this, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If I had known beforehand what I know now, I would have not brought the sacrificial animals and performed the Hajj rites."
