حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِيمَا يَحْسَبُ حَمَّادٌ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِخَدِيجَةَ «إِنِّي أَسْمَعُ صَوْتًا وَأَرَى ضَوْءًا وَإِنِّي أَخْشَى أَنْ يَكُونَ بِي خَبَلٌ» فَقَالَتْ خَدِيجَةُ لَمْ يَكُنِ اللهُ لِيَفْعَلَ بِكَ ذَلِكَ يَا ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ ثُمَّ أَتَتْ وَرَقَةَ بْنَ نَوْفَلٍ فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ إِنْ يَكُنْ صَادِقًا فَإِنَّ هَذَا نَامُوسٌ مِثْلُ نَامُوسِ مُوسَى وَإِنْ يُبْعَثْ وَأَنَا حَيٌّ سَأُعَزِّرُهُ وَأَنْصُرُهُ وَأُعِينُهُ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said to Khadījah, "I hear a voice and see a light, and I fear that I may be possessed." Khadījah said, "God would not do that to you, O son of ʿAbd Allah." Then she went to Waraqah b. Nawfal and mentioned that to him. He said, "If he is truthful, this is a nāmūs like the nāmūs of Mūsā. If he is sent while I am alive, I will support him, help him, and assist him."
