حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي حَسَّانَ الْأَنْمَاطِيُّ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَشَيْبَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِقُرَيْشٍ «يَا مَعْشَرَ قُرَيْشٍ لَا خَيْرَ فِي أَحَدٍ يَعْبُدُ مِنْ دُونِ اللهِ» فَقَالُوا أَلَسْتَ تَزْعُمُ أَنَّ عِيسَى كَانَ نَبِيًّا وَكَانَ عَبْدًا صَالِحًا إِنْ كُنْتَ صَادِقًا إِنَّهُ لَكَآلِهَتِهِمْ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {وَلَمَّا ضُرِبَ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ مَثَلًا إِذَا قَوْمُكَ مِنْهُ يَصِدُّونَ} يَضِجُّونَ {وَإِنَّهُ لَعِلْمٌ لِلسَّاعَةِ} خُرُوجُ عِيسَى قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said to Quraysh: "O assembly of Quraysh, there is no good in anyone who worships besides Allah." They said: "Do you not claim that ʿĪsā was a prophet and a righteous servant? If you are truthful, he is indeed one of their deities." Then Allah ﷻ revealed: {And when the son of Maryam was set forth as an example, at once your people clamor about it}—they raise an outcry—{And indeed he is a sign of the Hour}: the coming forth of ʿĪsā before the Day of Resurrection.
