✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah, may He be exalted, says: 'Whoever shows enmity to a friend of Mine, I have declared war on him. I have never hesitated about anything I am going to do as I hesitate about the death of a believer: he dislikes death, and I dislike distressing him. Sometimes My believing friend asks Me for wealth, but I turn him from wealth to poverty; if I turned him to wealth, it would be bad for him. Sometimes My believing friend asks Me for poverty, but I turn him to wealth; if I turned him to poverty, it would be bad for him. Indeed, Allah, may He be exalted, said: By My might, My majesty, My loftiness, My splendor, My beauty, and the elevation of My station, no servant gives preference to My desire over his own desire except that I fix his term before his eyes, and the heaven and earth guarantee his provision, and I am behind the trade of every trader for him.'
