حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْحَرَشِيُّ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْهِلَالِيُّ عَنْ نَهْشَلِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَمَانٌ لِأُمَّتِي مِنَ الْغَرَقِ إِذَا رَكِبُوا السُّفُنَ أَنْ يَقُولُوا بِسْمِ اللهِ الْمَلِكِ {وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ وَالْأَرْضُ جَمِيعًا قَبْضَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالسَّمَاوَاتُ مَطْوِيَّاتٌ بِيَمِينِهِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ} {بِسْمِ اللهِ مُجْرَاهَا وَمُرْسَاهَا إِنَّ رَبِّي لَغَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ}

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “A safeguard for my community from drowning, when they board ships, is to say: ‘In the name of Allah, the King. {They have not estimated Allah with His true estimation. The earth, all of it, will be in His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Glorified and exalted is He above what they associate with Him.} {In the name of Allah is its course and its anchorage. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving, Merciful.}’”
