حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ثنا أَبِي قَالُوا ثنا زُهَيْرٌ ثنا قَابُوسُ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ
قَالَ قُلْنَا لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَرَأَيْتَ قَوْلَ اللهِ ﷻ {مَا جَعَلَ اللهُ لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ قَلْبَيْنِ فِي جَوْفِهِ} فَقَالَ «قَامَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا يُصَلِّي فَخَطَرَ خَطْرَةً» فَقَالَ الْمُنَافِقُونُ الَّذِينَ يُصَلُّونَ مَعَهُ أَلَا تَرَوْنَ أَنَّ لَهُ قَلْبَيْنِ قَلْبًا مَعَكُمْ وَقَلْبًا مَعَهُمْ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {مَا جَعَلَ اللهُ لِرَجُلٍ مِنْ قَلْبَيْنِ فِي جَوْفِهِ}

✧ He said: We said to Ibn ʿAbbas: Have you considered the saying of Allah (glorified and exalted be He): {Allah has not made for any man two hearts in his chest}? He said: "The Prophet of Allah ﷺ stood one day to pray, and a thought crossed his mind." The hypocrites who were praying with him said: Do you not see that he has two hearts, a heart with you and a heart with them? So Allah (glorified and exalted be He) revealed: {Allah has not made for any man two hearts in his chest}.
