حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا بَنَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدَ الدَّقَّاقُ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا مِنْ أَيَّامٍ يُتَقَرَّبُ إِلَى اللهِ فِيهَا بِعَمَلٍ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامِ الْعَشْرِ» قِيلَ وَلَا الْجِهَادُ؟ قَالَ «وَلَا الْجِهَادُ إِلَّا أَنْ يُجَاهِدَ هُوَ بِنَفْسِهِ وَمَالِهِ وَلَا يَرْجِعُ مِنْهُ بِشَيْءٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There are no days in which drawing near to Allah with a deed is more excellent than these ten days." It was said: "Not even jihad?" He said: "Not even jihad, unless a man goes out with his own self and his wealth and returns with none of it."
