حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ الْبَزَّازُ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّرْجُمَانِيُّ ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
«انْطَلَقَ جِبْرِيلُ بِالنَّبِيِّ ﷺ لِيُرِيَهُ الْمَنَاسِكَ فَأَتَى بِهِ جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ فَإِذَا إِبْلِيسُ عَلَيْهِ فَأَمَرَهُ فَرَمَاهُ بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ فَسَاخَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ أَتَى الْجَمْرَةَ الْوُسْطَى فَإِذَا هُوَ بإِبليسَ فَأَمَرَهُ فَرَمَاهُ بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ فَسَاخَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ أَتَى الثَّالِثَةَ فَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ بِهِ ثُمَّ أَتَى بِهِ جَمْعَاءَ ثُمَّ لَبَّى مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ»

✧ Jibril went with the Prophet ﷺ to show him the rites. He brought him to Jamrat al-ʿAqaba, and there was Iblis upon it. He commanded him, and he threw seven pebbles at him, and he sank into the earth. Then he came to the middle jamra, and there was Iblis, so he commanded him, and he threw seven pebbles at him, and he sank into the earth. Then he came to the third one and did the same to him. Then he brought him to Jamʿ, then he performed talbiya from ʿArafat.
