حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ ثنا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ {إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللهِ وَالْفَتْحُ} حَتَّى خَتَمَ السُّورَةَ قَالَ نُعِيَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ نَفْسُهُ حِينَ نَزَلَتْ قَالَ فَأَخَذَ بِأَشَدِّ مَا كَانَ قَطُّ اجْتِهَادًا فِي أَمْرِ الْآخِرَةِ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ «جَاءَ الْفَتْحُ وَنَصْرُ اللهِ وَجَاءَ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَمَا أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ؟ قَالَ «قَوْمٌ رُقَيْقَةٌ قُلُوبُهُمْ لَيِّنَةٌ قُلُوبُهُمْ الْإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ وَالْفِقْهُ يَمَانٍ»

✧ When {When comes the help of God and the victory} was revealed until the end of the surah, he said: “The Prophet’s own soul was announced to him when it was revealed.” He said: “He then devoted himself to the utmost striving in the matter of the Hereafter that he had ever done.” After that, the Messenger of God ﷺ said: “Victory and the help of God have come, and the people of Yemen have come.” A man said: “O Messenger of God, who are the people of Yemen?” He said: “A people with tender hearts and soft hearts; faith is Yemeni, and understanding is Yemeni.”
