حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ثنا ثَابِتُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ثنا هِلَالُ بْنُ خَبَّابٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ الْتَفَتَ إِلَى أُحُدٍ فَقَالَ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ مَا يَسُرُّنِي أَنَّ أُحُدًا هَذَا يُحَوَّلُ لِآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ذَهَبًا أُنْفِقُهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَمُوتُ يَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَأَدَعُ مِنْهُ دِينَارَيْنِ إِلَّا دِينَارَيْنِ أُعِدُّهُمَا لِدَيْنٍ إِنْ كَانَ عَلِيَّ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ turned toward Uhud and said: “By Him in Whose hand is my soul, it would not please me if this Uhud were turned into gold for the family of Muhammad, which I would spend in the way of God, and then I die on the day I die leaving two dinars of it—except for two dinars I set aside for a debt, if I owe any.”
