حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنِ اسْتَمَعَ إِلَى حَدِيثِ قَوْمٍ صُبُّ فِي أُذُنِهِ الْآنُكُ وَمَنْ تَحَلَّمَ كَاذِبًا كُلِّفَ أَنْ يَعْقِدَ بَيْنَ شَعِيرَتَيْنِ وَلَيْسَ بعاقِدِهِما»

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, "Whoever listens to the conversation of a people, molten lead will be poured into his ear; and whoever falsely claims a dream will be tasked with tying together two grains of barley, and he will not be able to tie them."
