حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ أَوْ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ

أَنَّ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ مَعْرُورٍ «أَوْصَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِثُلُثِ مَالِهِ يَضَعُهُ حَيْثُ شَاءَ فَرَدَّهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى وَلَدِهِ»

✧ That al-Bara' b. Maʿrur “bequeathed a third of his wealth to the Prophet ﷺ to dispose of as he wished, but the Prophet ﷺ returned it to his children.”
