حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَاجِيَةَ وَأَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ قَالَا ثنا قَاسِمُ بْنُ عِيسَى الطَّائِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْوَاسِطِيُّ قَالَا ثنا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ صَوَّرَ صُورَةً كُلِّفَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنْ يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا الرُّوحَ وَمَنِ اسْتَمَعَ إِلَى كَلَامِ قَوْمٍ وَهُمْ لَهُ كَارِهُونَ صُبَّ فِي أُذُنِهِ الْآنُكُ وَمَنْ تَحَلَّمَ كَاذِبًا كُلِّفَ أَنْ يَعْقِدَ بَيْنَ شَعِيرَتَيْنِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever forms an image will be tasked on the Day of Resurrection with blowing the soul into it. Whoever eavesdrops on people’s speech while they dislike that will have molten lead poured into his ear. And whoever falsely claims a dream will be tasked with tying together two grains of barley.”
