حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَوْرٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا ضَرَرَ وَلَا ضِرَارَ وَلِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ خَشَبَةً عَلَى حَائِطِ جَارِهِ وَإِذَا شَكَكْتُمْ فِي الطَّرِيقِ فَاجْعَلُوهَا سَبْعَةَ أَذْرُعٍ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: "There should be no harming or reciprocating harm. A person should secure a piece of wood on the wall of his neighbor. And if you have doubts about the road, then make it seven cubits."
