حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْعَبْدِ يُزَوِّجُهُ سَيِّدُهُ قَالَ بِيَدِ مَنِ الطَّلَاقُ؟ قَالَ «بِيَدِ مَنْ أَخَذَ بِالسَّاقِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a slave whom his master gives in marriage. He said, "In whose hand is the divorce?" He said, "In the hand of the one who takes hold of the shank."
